Days 47-50

That weekend went by WAY to fast. So much fun!

Friday was the test, I spent most of the day studying beforehand. The test only took about an hour (thank goodness!) and I feel like I did really well. J

Afterwards Su and I walked to the grocery store to pick up a few things for the weekend and then headed back to the apartment. I rode my bike so naturally she got back before I did, haha. Friday night we had the interns over and had some fun before heading out to Carpe Nachtem, a dance club in Bonn. It was great, I’ve never seen myself as a dancing or a club person but I really loved it. We didn’t get home till pretty late so I slept in wayyy late on Saturday. Kind’ve wasted the day away but when I got up I super cleaned my “apartment” so I at least accomplished something. Haha

Sunday was a laid back day. I decided to go off on my own and take the bike to Drackenfels to check out the castle. It didn’t take me long to get there, maybe a half hour or less at the max, but along the way my cell phone fell out of my pocket. It kind’ve put a damper on my mood but I wasn’t nearly as worried as I would’ve been if that happened in the US.  Anyways… I took the hike up to the castle and wandered around for a bit. The castle was very pretty, but the view was once again spectacular. (as I’m sure you can see by all of my pictures!!)

Once I got tired of walking around I headed back to Bonn. I took my time and tried to re-trace my steps to see if I could find my phone but I had absolutely no luck finding it. It made the ride home seem even longer but oh well. Once I got back I saw that Su had sent me a message and that Ruslan had picked up my phone from a guy who found it on the sidewalk. Am I lucky or what??? I couldn’t believe it.

Monday (or today haha) Ruslan came over to bring me my phone and we hung out for a bit. It was nice to have someone to chill with instead of sitting alone in my room like the loser I am. :P

This week I’m going to pick up some pumpkins for us to carve. Should be fun. Tomorrow’s the start of another workweek, I wonder what’s in store…
