More office days. I really like the people I work with; they’re all super nice. The woman I share the office with had a birthday the week before and brought breakfast in for the whole office. It was awesome. I love the breakfast here. It’s nothing like home but it’s still just as good. I thought it was so funny to hear happy birthday sung by everyone, the accent makes the song sound so different! Tomorrow another coworker is bringing in cakes for her birthday. So much food and celebrating! Haha.
Yesterday Ruslan and I carved some pumpkins and would you believe it he did a better job than I did. How lame am I? lol. While we sat outside admiring our handiwork we spotted a headgehog! Being a typical guy Ruslan ran out and picked the poor guy up. It rolled into a ball and we snapped some pics haha.
Tomorrow after work I’m heading to Amsterdam for the night and spending Friday in the city. I can’t wait!!! I will finally get to see where Anne Frank and her family tried to hide from the Nazis. I really can’t comprehend what this means to me, hopefully it hits me when I get there. I’m also excited to see the city and maybe enjoy some of the famous nightlife. My hostel is right next to the red light district so I’m a typical tourist and will at least to get to see some of the action haha!
After Amsterdam I’m scheduled to go to Prag. I will only be in the city for 6 hours and I have no idea what to look for but I guess that’s the fun in traveling, you don’t know what to expect. J
I will get back to Köln at around 11 o’clock and I’m going to go out on the town with the Tara, Bri, Ruslan and Josephine (one of my fellow interns). I’m really looking forward to hanging out with them. J
Well wish me luck!!!
Tschüß!!!
